BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE FOR BUSINESS MANAGERS

This website provides business managers with a method for effective use of business intelligence.  Much of the information that is currently available describes the technology that is used to produce business intelligence.  The technology is important however it only addresses two of the five steps that are needed to affect business outcomes.  Weincor defines these steps as follows

2. Identify the objectives and measurable outcomes that are needed to achieve your goal.

3. Use correlation analysis to identify the drivers that affect the outcome.

4. Use predictive models to identify the targets that will result in the desired outcome.

5. Create the strategies that are needed to keep your drivers on target.
